WWI

WWI is most known for Trench Warfare.  In Trench Warfare both sides built trenches making it difficulty for advancement.  Many deaths took place in the trenches, often times from disease. It is estimated that 1/3 of allied forces died in trenches during WWI.  In trenches rats and lice were especially bad.  Trench war fair was a brutal and slow way to fight a war.

  2. They died from the disease in the trenches, so from the trenches.
